Many books have been written about how to raise kids, discipline kids, love kids.
Many books have been written about computer programming. As technology advances, doctors are now able to change fetus's genetics so that they do not suffer from diseases that would other wise cause them to be severely disabled or worse. There is lots of talk about taking the genetic programming further in the future, so that we have classes of people who are beautiful and smart, people who are professional soldiers, etc. Just imagine, just for a minute.... What if we could implant a duo-core processor in a fetus, and program it remotely? What if we could "implant" discipline into the child? What if we could make the child mind, so that there were only the good times -- no temper tantrums, no whining, no asking "Are we there yet?" The child would grow up not stealing, not arguing..... He could be reprogrammed as the years went by.... No teenage rebellions, no running away... The child could be programmed to study hard, get good grades, show up on time, no drugs, no alcohol, no tobacco..... We could accomplish thru code what we strive to accomplish thru psychology today. We would have all these wonderful kids and teens that we could have fun with, instead of disciplining and arguing with them....... What if they preferred to have brocolli instead of ice cream? Wouldn't that be a wonderful world? Thoughts? for reference, see Dr. Tim Riley's book -- First the Brocolli, then the Ice Cream: A parents guide to Deliberate Discipline.
Welcome
Welcome to my blog. I update this as often as I can with news that you might not see on the major networks as my main focus. I welcome any and all comments, and I have content at the bottom of the page everyday. Personal blurb: My personal belief is that the US Constitution's first amendment (which talks about the freedom of speech) extends to the Internet. For this reason, I have the comments setting set up to have comments go up immediately. If you comment anonymously, you will have to go through a word verification step. I will keep the setting as-is as long as the comments are kept 'G' rated. Thanks and I hope you keep coming back.
