Welcome

Welcome to my blog. I update this as often as I can with news that you might not see on the major networks as my main focus. I welcome any and all comments, and I have content at the bottom of the page everyday. Personal blurb: My personal belief is that the US Constitution's first amendment (which talks about the freedom of speech) extends to the Internet. For this reason, I have the comments setting set up to have comments go up immediately. If you comment anonymously, you will have to go through a word verification step. I will keep the setting as-is as long as the comments are kept 'G' rated. Thanks and I hope you keep coming back.

Biden Falls Asleep During Key Obama Speech

US vice president Joe Biden dropped off to sleep while his boss was delivering a much-hyped speech on saving the nation's economy.

As President Barack Obama worked his way through statistics and policy goals during a 30-minute speech, his right-hand man couldn't resist the urge to nod off.
Video shows that two women in the row behind the vice president also struggling to stay awake.
Eventually Mr Biden appeared to jerk awake - but it was clear that staying that way was a struggle. In contrast, Timothy Geithner, the treasury secretary, appeared alert and his eyes were wide open as he listened to Mr Obama's every word.
His cat nap sparked a flood of comments on Twitter and American political blogs, with some suggesting that he may have simply been deep in thought or even praying.
Mr Biden's nap managed to steal some of the limelight from Mr Obama's speech, and it was not the first time that the vice president had blundered during a major political event.
He was caught on an open microphone after health care reform was passed describing it as a "big ******* deal".
He was clearly heard above a gale of applause on television microphones, just after paying a gushing tribute to the president in a signing ceremony in the White House.
